In our tradition, Ayahuasca is known as “Abuelita” (Grandmother in Spanish). This is in honor of her wise and healing nature and for gifting us with a deep connection to our inner selves. Ayahuasca is also called “La Medicina” (The medicine) but in this case it is medicine of the Soul. Unlike regular medicine that is narrow in its purpose and effects, Ayahuasca has an innate wisdom that will have a completely unique effect for each person partaking of it in the ceremony.
In most cases though, it will open your perception to a profound and transforming understanding of yourself and inner conditioning. |
As opposed to Ayahuasca that is private and introspective, the work we do with San Pedro is one of celebration and gratitude. San Pedro is a cactus with powerful visionary qualities that like Ayahuasca, has been used for millennia in the Peruvian Shamanic tradition.
The work is done in communion with “El Abuelo Fuego” (Grandfather Fire), and through our prayers and sacred tobacco, your guide will accompany us in dance and music as well as allow for moments of connective and comforting silence. |
Wayra in Quechua (language of a native people of Peru) means flight and Wayra huasca means “Ayahuasca Flight”. It is a plant medicine of introspection that allows us to meet the spirit of ayahuasca in its purest form. This encounter can manifest as a deep connection with Mother Earth.
